THE READER IN ME
Reading has been one of the things that keep me busy during my downtimes. It started when I was in fourth-year high school during one of the out-of-town competitions that my school sent me to. I was casually browsing through the books on sale at a bookstore in the city's downtown area when The Choice by Gloria Skurzynski caught my attention. Since then, reading has occupied a special place in my bookworm's heart.
A good story to pass the time, either a hard copy or an e-book, is a must-have whenever I go outside my apartment. It's also a great excuse not to mind others when I'm stuck alone in a place and not feel so out of place. Most of the time, I will always choose a hard copy of a book over its e-book.
There is just something about the oldish scent and yellowish pages that makes me love them more.
