CHRISTMAS
TRADITIONS
Welcome to my cherished corner of holiday cheer! This blog page is a festive journey through the heartwarming Christmas traditions that my family and I hold dear.
Join me as I share the time-honored customs and rituals that have shaped our holiday celebrations over the years. From trimming the Christmas tree and hanging twinkling lights to the joy of exchanging thoughtful gifts, each tradition has a story to tell.
Discover the magic of baking homemade gingerbread cookies and sipping on hot cocoa by the fireplace, while classic carols fill the air. These are moments of togetherness and love that have become the essence of our Christmas season.
As we explore these traditions, I'll offer tips on how to create your own meaningful rituals and share heartwarming anecdotes from our own Christmas adventures. This page is a space of shared joy and inspiration, inviting you to embrace the spirit of Christmas and create your own cherished traditions, brimming with love and warmth.

Dearest Friends from 2024 and the Past,
Gulat ka sa page description 'no? Placeholder pa lang 'yan. Hopefully, in the very near future, all that's in there
will be reality. So... Why this page for this year? I wanted to create something for the holidays where my little
family and I can share the things that we enjoy the most during this season. Today is the 23rd of October,
since wala akong magawa, hindi pa ako inaantok after my work and after watching God knows how many
Christmas movies already, I decided to start this section of my blog for my family.
This year, wala kaming gaanong plan to do inside our apartment since we're still renting and I hate
our decor getting so much dust. Our current house is not my ideal place to put up Christmas
decorations. Kaya ngayon, I think we'll just have to continue a tradition that I started some years ago,
collecting decors that my family and I can put up together once we have the place that we can
call our home.
I was thinking of creating a Christmas newsletter but I opted for this one since wala pa akong
database ng e-mail addresses n'yo. But if you want a newsletter next year, drop your name
and e-mail address below. Hahaha. Nag-promote? Anyway, what's up? How has 2024 been
treating you so far? Are you still waiting for more great things to happen this year? I hope all
things are going just fine and the coming holidays will bring you more of the things that you've been
wanting to get since the first day of this year.
A lot of things happened to us this year but I think these are the best of them so far:
Art got a promotion sa trabaho niya and I'm very proud of him for that. But come on, regardless, I'm still a proud boyfriend here. The way I see it, our country is currently in the middle of an education crisis, I'm no expert but just look at what's happening. Despite all these, my partner is still very much motivated to inspire and teach his students.
As for me, I had my fourth anniversary at work and already spent a year in the promotion that I got last year. I'm still
learning a lot and very much happy with my job lalo na't I have another one of the best managers in my entire career.
Come on, who will not be inspired by that? 2024 has somehow ended already in my job, and now starting with a lot
of things that are for the coming year. Our self-evals ended on the second week of this month and I'm very positive
that I'll get a rating of at least 4/5. I'm still very much hopeful though that I'll get a 5/5 again this year.
As for our travel goals, we spent a long weekend in La Union for Art's birthday with his best friend and her son.
It's been another memorable trip for us with lots of time on the beach. Also, we've been to Baguio twice this year,
one for our anniversary and the other one for my birthday. And I think we'll have our third visit before the end of this year. Baguio City has been our happy place since we started our relationship despite all the bad
reputations on social media that this city has among ex-lovers. And by the way, we celebrated our third
anniversary this year.
Last but not least, we already got the key to our home. Hahaha. We're so excited about this but that's all we can disclose for now about it. Hopefully, we'll have more by next year.
Well, friends, these are all for now. We hope you're having a great -ber-months season this year. Go out there, enjoy this season, and put on some sweaters! It's getting cold already.
Cheering for you,
Miggyboy and His Daddies

Dearest Friends from 2025 and the Past,
Grabe ang ulan, more than one week na ang pagbuhos. Today is July 25. I know it's very early for a Christmas letter. But I'm so bored and at the same time too excited for my remaining vacations this year: my week-long birthday vacation and my two-week-long Christmas vacation. Sobra-sobra na ang pag-ulan because of three typhoons plus Habagat, which makes the rain worse. Sobrang nakakabahala ang current situation ng mga tao sa mga lugar na bugbog talaga sa bagyo. There are just too many depressing situations right now. I figured writing this today will help me cope, after all, Christmas is everything joyful and positive.
Working from home with this weather is a challenge. It makes me want to curl up in bed, watch movies, read books, drink tea and coffee, and eat a lot. In an attempt to be productive, I finally uploaded the first video of my YouTube channel, which is called Chill & Calm Corner, with no fancy and complicated editing. My concept is just about the raw sounds that you will hear when you are in a certain place. Like the first video I uploaded, it's almost an hour-long recording of the sounds you will hear when you sit on the beach near the calm waters of Dasol, Pangasinan, between 5 and 6 in the morning. I have more ideas on my list and videos that I haven't set up for upload yet.
To be continued...
Cheering for you,
Miggyboy and His Daddies
